Tipp City, Ohio – May 24th, 2017 – The Tipp Pride Association proudly announced today that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has officially designated them to be a 501(c)(3) charity organization. Being an officially recognized non-profit allows the organization to receive donations that will be tax deductible.

This allows Tipp Pride to seek out and accept larger donations as well as donations made from trusts, wills, estates and foundations. Tipp Pride President Mashell Stith was quoted as saying “We are excited to achieve this 501(c)(3) status, as it serves as another important step in achieving our goal of bringing an improved stadium to our community”.

“WIthout requesting taxpayer dollars for this project, Tipp Pride will need to raise funds from many different sources”, Vice President Scott George stated. “This tax designation allows greater generosity to occur from corporations, organizations and private donors”. Donations can be made in various ways including checks and credit/debit card payments via the Tipp Pride website at www.tipppride.com/donate. Online donations can be made as one-time gifts, or as recurring monthly donations.
Funds raised by the Tipp Pride Association will go directly to fund the installation of new artificial turf, home stands, visitor stands, scoreboard, concession areas, locker-rooms (both home and visitor), restrooms, press box, sound and lighting. Construction is scheduled to begin once the design phase has been completed, and the organization has raised a significant enough amount of donations in order to break ground.
